Won’t You Join Us?

Did you know that as a Zoo member you are invited to join our docents each month for special members-only tours? It's the perfect way to find out all about the animals you love to visit here at the Zoo. Tours are held at 10:30 a.m. on the first Saturday and second Sunday of each month. We try to keep the groups small so you get individual attention and have a chance to ask questions. Since fall is back-to-school time, join a docent for our September tour, "Animal Academics," to learn how young animals learn their life skills. In October, as Boo at the L.A. Zoo takes over, join us for "Fangs a Lot" and find out some scary (and unexpected) facts about our animals with fangs. We do ask that that you make a reservation for your tour and also let us know if your plans have changed and you need to cancel. Our docents hope you will join them for a tour in the near future.
